- Moulds and heat-stressed parts
- Moulds with welded construction
- Refrigeration technology
Characteristics:
FORMODAL® 030, an aluminium-cast-alloy (based on EN AW-5083 - Al Mg4,5 Mn0,7) created by special thermal homogenization with similar mechanical properties as aluminium rolled plates.
FORMODAL® 030 is especially stress-relieved, making it excellent for machining. In addition, the rolling process is omitted during production, resulting in the absence of crystalline structure longitudinal. Thanks to the machined surfaces, roughing, finishing or remachining often become superfluous.
FORMODAL is a trademark of BIKAR-METALLE GmbH.
