Largest international expansion – clear commitment to Asia
Malaysia has been a key market for BIKAR for many years. With the foundation of BIKAR METALS ASIA, the company creates a permanent presence on the Malay Peninsula and brings its proven production-focused approach from Europe and India directly to the ASEAN region.
Located in Sendayan TechValley in Seremban, approximately one hour south of Kuala Lumpur, the new 10,000 m² facility positions BIKAR at the heart of one of the world’s most dynamic industrial regions. From here, the company serves major ASEAN markets including South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. Designed as a fully digital lean-production environment, the plant will feature advanced cutting and processing technology and storage capacity of up to 5,000 tonnes. Operations will start in autumn 2026.
Seamless supply across ASEAN and beyond
BIKAR delivers production-aligned supply built around real manufacturing requirements: cut-to-size aluminium plates, sheets and extrusions, synchronised deliveries and digitally connected processes. By embedding material flow directly into production, the company reduces complexity, minimises handling and enhances planning stability.
The Malaysian site works in close coordination with BIKAR METALS INDIA LTD., creating a strong regional platform across Asia. Fully integrated into BIKAR’s global network and connected to its main plants in Germany, the sites combine local responsiveness with international production standards and digital transparency.
Sasidharan Kanan, an experienced industry specialist with deep regional expertise, will lead the new site. “With our new facility in Sendayan, we are bringing production-aligned supply closer to our customers across ASEAN. Our goal is clear: to combine strong local expertise with BIKAR’s global capabilities and ensure stable, reliable material flow for aerospace and high-tech programmes throughout the region,” says Sasidharan Kanan. Under his leadership, BIKAR METALS ASIA will act as a direct interface for customers across ASEAN, combining strong local market knowledge with the capabilities of BIKAR’s global network.
