To mark the start of their apprenticeships, all 16 apprentices came together in Korbußen for a two day onboarding programme. Alongside introductory sessions covering the training programme, health and safety, and IT security, the focus was on getting to know one another and building connections across both sites.
“Investing in apprentices means investing in the future of our company,” says Annalena Moll, Head of Human Resources at BIKAR. “From day one, we want our apprentices to feel welcome and have every opportunity to develop both professionally and personally.”
One of the highlights of the programme was a tour of the BIKAR ZONE EAST. The apprentices gained valuable insights into BIKAR’s modern production and logistics processes and the technologies that help supply customers around the world.
Team building also played an important role. During activities including the Gordian Knot challenge and a photo rally, the apprentices quickly got to know each other while tackling their first challenges together. The programme concluded with a relaxed barbecue, giving everyone the chance to continue the conversations in an informal setting.
“We’re looking for young people who are eager to take on responsibility and grow with us,” says Training Manager Ingo Miß. “Those who bring motivation and commitment will find exciting opportunities and genuine long term career prospects at BIKAR. Many of our managers began their own careers here as apprentices.”
By welcoming this new intake, BIKAR continues its long term commitment to developing young talent and investing in the skilled workforce of tomorrow.
