One of the most emotional highlights was the appointment of six new authorized signatories. In personal speeches, Claudia, Alexander and Pascal Bikar paid tribute to six individuals who have shaped the company over many years through exceptional dedication, outstanding reliability and entrepreneurial responsibility. The focus was not on titles or positions, but on the people behind their new responsibilities – and on the values upon which the family business has been built for generations.
It was a special moment in the more than 60-year history of the BIKAR Group: For the first time, more than1,000 employees came together for a joint BIKAR FAMILY Town Hall. On site in Bad Berleburg and Korbußen, as well as via livestream from the company’s international locations, they experienced an afternoon focused on BIKAR’s future – while also sending a strong message of trust, unity and shared responsibility.
Six individuals, six remarkable journeys
Each appointment was accompanied by a personal tribute. The management team reflected on the individual and remarkable journeys of the six executives. Recognition was given not only to their professional achievements, but above all to their personal integrity, their deep connection to the company and their willingness to take on responsibility.
Their moving stories ranged from apprentices rising to become heads of departments, from initial joint projectsto assuming responsibility for international projects that will shape the company’s future. One message became clear time and again: What mattered was not hierarchy or a perfectly linear career path, but character, attitude and the determination to help shape the company over many years.
The personal words moved not only the six new authorized signatories, but also many of the employees attending in person and joining digitally.

Sharing responsibility across more shoulders
Expanding the group of authorized signatories is far more than a personnel decision. It reflects the evolution of a family business that has grown significantly in recent years and is deliberately distributing responsibility across more shoulders in the future.
What began as a traditional metal trading company has evolved into an internationally positioned technologyand solutions provider. Today, BIKAR develops its own software solutions, operates highly automated production facilities, establishes international subsidiaries and integrates material supply, logistics, digitalization and recycling into seamless processes.
As the company grows, so does its responsibility. The expanded group of authorized signatories broadens BIKAR’s management structure, strengthens the next generation of leadersand lays the foundation for continuing the company’s successful journey together.
Into the future together with the BIKAR FAMILY
Looking ahead also played a central role at the first Town Hall. The management team presented the BIKAR FAMILY with the company’s most important projects for the years ahead. At the heart of these plans is BIKAR ZONE East in Korbußen – the largest investment in the company’s history. At the same time, BIKAR continuesto invest in automation, artificial intelligence and the expansion of its own logistics operations.
Management conveyed a clear message: Digitalization and modern technologies do not replace people. Theysupport them, open up new possibilities and help safeguard the family business’s long-term future.
This idea ran like a common thread throughout the entire Town Hall: BIKAR’s future will not be determined by new plants, modern machinery or artificial intelligence alone. It is created every day by people who take responsibility, drive change and shape the company through their personalities, expertise and dedication.
The first Town Hall thus became a shared moment of appreciation for the entire BIKAR FAMILY – and a powerful sign that the company’s future will be shaped together.
