At BIKAR METALS, the chances of being offered a permanent position after completing your apprenticeship are very high: Our conversion rate is around 95 %. As a growing company, we train with the goal of integrating you as a long-term talent within the company.

The choice of vocational school depends on your apprenticeship profession. For the Bad Berleburg location, depending on the profession, schools in Siegen and Bad Berleburg are available. If you are training at the Korbußen location, you will attend one of the schools in Jena, Gera, or Altenburg.

The duration of the apprenticeship is between two and three and a half years, depending on the profession. If you perform very well, you have the opportunity to take your final exam earlier.

There is no set deadline. For the best chance at your preferred apprenticeship, we recommend submitting your application about 9–12 months before the start of the training. It is also possible to get an apprenticeship placement shortly before the training begins.

With an internship at BIKAR in Bad Berleburg or Korbußen near Gera, we offer you insights into commercial, industrial-technical, and IT apprenticeship professions.

If you realize during your apprenticeship that the chosen profession is not the right fit for you, there is the option to switch to a different apprenticeship at BIKAR or to mutually terminate the apprenticeship. Together, we will find a solution that works for you.

Your application should consist of a short, clear cover letter and a structured and complete CV. In the cover letter (max. 1 page), explain why you want to do an apprenticeship at BIKAR METALS and what makes you qualified for it. You can base your answers on the following questions:

• Why am I particularly suited for this profession? What do I bring to the table?
• What other qualities define me as a person?

The CV should be well-structured. Feel free to include a portrait photo – but it's not mandatory (please no selfies). The CV should include your personal details (first and last name, date and place of birth, address, phone/mobile number, and email address). A list of your educational background and any early professional experiences, hobbies, social involvement (e.g., sports or music clubs), and personal interests is also valuable to us as an employer.
