BIKAR FAMILY sticks together

BIKAR is an owner-managed family business. Here the family comes first. We are a company with a low average age and an young management team. Family values characterise the daily working life at BIKAR. In particular, the BIKAR FAMILY is characterised by a strong team spirit and cohesion. Our company focuses on finding practical, flexible and fast solutions. We want to make everything possible for the company, our customers and our employees, the heart of the BIKAR FAMILY, and we give everything for this. This has been our tradition since the company was founded and will be passed on to future generations.

Balancing family and career

For us at BIKAR, family and career means supporting our employees during important family events. For us, this includes starting a family and the associated options of parental leave or on-site childcare, as well as caring for sick relatives or bridging the distance to relatives living far away.

At this point, we would like to highlight some of the opportunities available to our employees:

These efforts were certified for the first time in 2022: Competentia NRW and the Kompetenzzentrum Frau & Beruf Siegen-Wittgenstein/Olpe certified us as a "family-friendly company". We also successfully completed the re-certification in 2023. We are delighted with the positive feedback!

Focusing on production

The "Herzstück Produktion" initiative, in which the needs and requirements of the production areas in particular are taken into account and optimised, is a particular expression of this sustainable approach. Since 2020, continuous improvement projects have been implemented, employees and managers have been trained, and workplaces have been optimised as part of this initiative. These are just a few of the results of the initiative, which ensures stability in the team, motivation among colleagues and very good working conditions.
