What does the application process at BIKAR look like?

After you upload your application documents, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. Your documents will then be reviewed by our HR team as quickly as possible. If we have any questions, we will contact you. If the initial impression is positive and the department would like to meet you, we usually schedule a personal interview within two weeks. We will send you proposed dates for the first meeting, preferably via email. Once we have agreed on a date, you will receive a confirmation and directions. Sometimes, the first meeting takes place online. In this case, we will provide you with access details for an online meeting.

Who will see my personal data, and how long will it be stored?

Your application documents will be reviewed by the HR department upon receipt and forwarded to the relevant department. We process your personal data for the hiring decision. In doing so, we only process the personal data that is related to your application and necessary to assess your professional and personal qualifications for the position in question. If no employment relationship is established with us and you have not agreed to further storage of your application data, we will store the aforementioned personal data for a maximum of 6 months after the completion of the application process. After 6 months, your application documents and all personal data will be deleted.

The interview starts with a brief introduction by the department and an HR representative. Afterward, you will receive information about the position and BIKAR as an employer. Then, you will have the opportunity to introduce yourself – we are interested in your background and motivation. Following that, we will ask you some technical and personal questions. At the end, you can ask questions and will receive information about the next steps in the application process.
