BIKAR METALLE GmbH is constantly growing and developing technologically. Due to increasing automation and more complex business requirements, we need very well trained personnel. For this reason, our company places great emphasis on in-house training. We employ around 50 apprentices at our sites and have a very high retention rate. Some of our current managers and major contributors to our business are former successful apprentices.
At BIKAR, young people are involved in the real processes from day one. They work actively and take responsibility from the very beginning. In this way, our trainees become involved at an early stage and are made aware of the importance of their role.
Young, outstanding employees at BIKAR are offered individual development opportunities. In addition to on-the-job training, we also provide funding for university studies and doctorates for those who perform well. We work with our employees to find the right course of study, for example geography, media design or a PhD in tax law.
All these efforts have contributed to our receiving the Certificate of Excellence for Training from the Siegen Employment Agency. We are very proud of this award and the growing number of apprentices shows that our efforts are paying off.
